Event description

Description

Join us for an evening of activities, talks and exhibitions covering the curious history of health and medicine. Drop in any time to find out about the fiery and forthright women who fought for nursing registration to be introduced in 1919 and view early nursing registers. Get creative and trim a hat to emulate a matron from 1919, learn about the history of mental health care with objects from Bethlem Museum of the Mind and explore the collections of the Florence Nightingale Museum, the Association of Anaesthetists, Royal Pharmaceutical Society and Kings College Archives.
