Filmclub Maastricht is all about connecting people through cinema.

Instead of just watching movies, we dive deeper—sharing perspectives, exchanging ideas, and discovering what films mean to each of us. On September 13th, in anticipation of Ari Aster’s upcoming release, we’ll gather to discuss his haunting and visually stunning Midsommar(2019).

This is not a screening but a discussion-based event. We encourage you to watch the film beforehand, but whether you’ve seen it once, many times, or not at all, you’re welcome to join. It’s an opportunity to connect with fellow film lovers, spark conversation, and experience cinema in a whole new way—through community.
