We are pleased to announce that our next networking event will be at The Film and TV Charity Headquarters in Soho, London. As you know, The Film and TV Charity has been supporting us, and we want our audience to know how they can get involved in our project as well as use their professional workspace in the heart of Soho.

What to Expect:

Guests and speakers include:

Graham Goddard --- Experienced creative industry and education professional currently working within the skills team at Film London, as Skills Programmes Coordinator, Short Courses. Goddard has supported 1000s of creatives to progress academically and develop valuable career and life skills, including assessing bursary applications and ensuring that students and their parents/carers face no financial barriers when accessing education.

Goddard has a keen interest in mental health and has previously volunteered for The Campaign Against Living Miserably.

Lucas Pelizaro --- Lucas Pelizaro is an award-winning filmmaker and content creator, currently in production on his second feature film. His work blends raw, human storytelling with a strong visual style whether it's on the big screen or in a 30-second video. Originally from Brazil and based in London, Lucas also creates film-focused content on TikTok and Instagram, where he brings his love of cinema to life.

Victor Fraga --- Victor Fraga is a Brazilian born and London-based journalist, founder of the website DMovies and filmmaker with more than 20 years of involvement in the cinema industry and beyond. He was previously the editor of the now defunct UK independent magazine The Film Festival Magazine (2006 and 2007) and JungleDrums (2007 and 2008). He has written about film for large national newspapers on both sides of the Atlantic, including The Guardian (UK), A Tarde and O Povo (Brazil).

Having lived in Europe since 1997, Victor has excellent written and oral command of English, Portuguese, Spanish and German, as well as some intermediate French and some knowledge of Russian.

As a filmmaker, Fraga the debut documentary The Coup d’Etat Factory (2021) revealed the manipulative tactics of the Brazilian press. His second movie The Flour Test was released in 2022. In 2023, he produced and and co-wrote Bruce LaBruce’s The Visitor. Later in the same year, he released his documentary The Bad Patriots, a follow-up to his 2021 work.

Through masterclasses, networking events, and industry resources, the Hub supports emerging talent in building connections, gaining skills, and taking control of their storytelling journey.
