GET OUT (2017)

In the horror-thriller Get Out, Black photographer Chris Washington is uneasy about visiting his white girlfriend Rose's family, but their overly accommodating behavior and the strange, unsettling actions of the Black household staff — the groundskeeper and housekeeper — turn out to be a deceptive front for a horrifying scheme to transplant elderly, wealthy white people's brains into younger Black bodies for eternal life and possession. Chris's initial discomfort is amplified by his girlfriend's deceptive mother's hypnosis and the chilling realization that the house staff are not just strange, but are victims whose minds have been taken over by the Armitage family's elder relatives. When the truth is revealed, Chris fights for his life to escape the family's sinister plans and the horrifying reality of being trapped and used by them.
