One Day ( 2011)
On the night of their university graduation in 1988, idealistic Emma Morley and charming Dexter Mayhew share an unexpected connection that sparks a lifelong bond. Though their lives take very different paths—Emma struggling to find her place as a writer and Dexter embracing a reckless lifestyle in media—they agree to meet on the same date, 15th July, year after year. Over two decades, their relationship evolves through friendship, missed opportunities, conflict, and reconciliation, as each confronts personal successes and failures. Through these yearly glimpses, their story becomes a moving meditation on time, choices, and the enduring pull of love.
