The King's Man ( 2021)
Set during the years leading up to and through the First World War, The King’s Man explores the origins of the secret Kingsman organization. The story follows Orlando Oxford, a pacifist aristocrat who, after losing his wife to violence, vows to protect his son Conrad from the horrors of war. As Europe hurtles toward conflict, Orlando assembles a covert network with his loyal allies Shola and Polly to combat a hidden cabal, led by the mysterious Shepherd, that is manipulating world leaders to engineer global chaos. Conrad, eager to serve his country, becomes entangled in the unfolding war, while Orlando uncovers plots involving the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the machinations of Grigori Rasputin, and German efforts to destabilize international alliances. Through betrayal, sacrifice, and revelations, Orlando and his companions confront the Shepherd, expose the conspiracy, and set the stage for the Allied powers to triumph. In the aftermath, Orlando founds the Kingsman agency, using a Savile Row tailor shop as its front, dedicated to discreetly preserving peace and order in the world.
