After years of reckless drinking and self-destruction in London, Rona, a young Scottish woman in her thirties, returns to her childhood home in the remote Orkney Islands to recover and rebuild her life. Immersed once again in the wind-swept isolation of the islands, Rona embarks on a journey of healing and self-discovery, confronting the pain she’s tried to escape and learning to find solace in solitude.
