Ted Simpson
Ted is a self-shooting director and editor, working across commercial and documentary. His main interests lie in exploring stories of human connection to wild land and wild spaces.
Ted’s feature debut came in 2020 with The Cull - Scotland's Deer Dilemma, and found a passion and a talent for working within a longer format. This film allowed Ted to combine breathtaking cinematic capture of the incredible Highland vistas with intimate and personal characters, authentically representing all sides of the debate, and weaving a complex narrative throughout a compelling feature documentary.
The Cull is on the international festival circuit, and has been critically acclaimed, winning ‘Best Natural History & Mountain Environment Film’ at the world renowned Banff Mountain Film Festival, and ‘Best Environmental Film’ at Kendal Mountain Festival.
Finbar O’Sullivan
Prior to documentary, Fin has been producing commercial content for major brands for the last 7 years, with clients including Facebook, Dr Martens, Google, Adidas & Smirnoff, and has gained invaluable experience in delivering large scale projects both domestically and internationally.
In 2018, Fin produced a wildlife documentary project for the Kenyan based charity Space For Giants, fronted by BBC’s Liz Bonnin. Following from this, he worked closely with Ted to develop and produce The Cull - Scotland’s Deer Dilemma, solidifying his passion for documentary and their working partnership.
