On the 22nd anniversary of Srebrenica Genocide, The City Circle and Remembering Srebrenica will be holding a film screening of Halima's Path to honour the women of Bosnia.

In order to recover the body of her son lost during the war in Bosnia, a grieving, but strong-willed Muslim woman, Halima, must track down her estranged niece, who we find carries a mysterious connection to him.

In 2013, Halima's Path won 14 awards in film festivals throughout the world. It won, among others, the "Grand Prix prize" at both the International Festival of Mons in Belgium and at the 19th Mediterranean Film Festival in Morocco. It was also voted the best film at the Morocco festival.

Certificate 15. We are unable to admit those under the age of 15.

Doors open at 18:30 and the screening begins at 18:45.
