Event description

Description

As part of the conference 'Other 68s: Lineages and Legacies of May '68', to be held at the University of Nottingham on 11-12 May 2018, we are organising an early evening screening of the new documentary film, Mai '68, un étrange printemps, which examines the events of May '68 in Paris from the other side of the barricades, highlighting the complexities of memory as many of those who participated in 1968 explain their thoughts of those events today. The film is presented in French with English subtitles.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A (in English) with the director and producer, Dominique Beaux and Jean-Baptiste Evette.

Students and members of the public are very welcome to attend (you do not have to register for the conference!). Refreshments will be available. The event is free but please let us know you are coming by registering in advance.

Further information about the conference is available here: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/conference/fac-arts/clas/other68s/index.aspx
