Film Screening Next to Us (Pored Nas) + Q&A
Join us for a special film screening of Next to Us at Storey's Field Centre, Eddington, Cambridge, on October 11th, 2025.
Doors open at 2:30 PM, and the film will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
Written and directed by Serbian award-winning filmmaker Stevan Filipović (Sheitan's Warrior, Skinning, Next to Me, Next to You), Next to Us is set ten years after the high school drama Next to Me. The story follows former classmates as they navigate unfamiliar territory, forcing them to confront wild environments and, in the process, reveal their true nature, testing their humanity.
After the screening, stick around for a Q&A session with the director, Stevan Filipović.
Meet the Director
Stevan Filipović is a university lecturer with a very strong career behind the camera. His accolades include the Young Audience Award at Sarajevo 2015, the Golden Arena at Pula 2015, and the Special Jury Prize at Menton 2020. A columnist, eco-warrior, and all-around rebel, Filipović is not to be missed. Don’t miss the chance to meet him in person!
