Event description

Description

YouTube presents, a Participant Media and Concordia Studio production, the Winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, THE PRICE OF FREE.

Hidden inside overcrowded factories around the world, THE PRICE OF FREE tells the story of countless children who are forced into slave labor in part due to rising global demands for cheap goods. With the help of a covert network of informants, Nobel Peace Prize® winner Kailash Satyarthi and his dedicated team carry out daring raids to rescue and rehabilitate imprisoned children. Directed by Derek Doneen and produced by Oscar® winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truth,” “He Named Me Malala”) and Sarah Anthony, the film pulls us into Kailash’s gripping pursuit and relentless action to liberate every child.
