Entry £5. Free with a ticket to the weekend event. 'The Young Karl Marx' — directed by Haitian filmmaker and political activist Raoul Peck and co-written by Peck and Pascal Bonitzer — is the story of when Karl Marx mets Friedrich Engels.
They begin to collaborate on building a socialist movement, aiming to organised exploited workers. The years leading up to the writing of the Communist Manifesto and the Europe-wide revolutions of 1948.
