Film Station: What's Love Got to Do with It
Fri 12 February 2016, 18:30 – 20:00 GMT
One of the finest rock biographies yet filmed, What's Love Got to Do with It follows Tina Turner's rise to stardom alongside her suffering at the hands of abusive husband Ike.
With great lead performances from Angela Basset and Laurence Fishburne, Brian Gibson's acclaimed movie is a harrowing but ultimately uplifting drama.
Film Station is a fortnightly programme of FREE film screenings at Metal, Edge Hill Station, with films being nominated by the audience. This is an informal event that gives an opportunity to watch and discuss good movies in a friendly atmosphere.
