🎬 Got a young director or actor at home? They’ll love our creative 4-day Filmmaking Week!

Join us for a hands-on week where young people can step into the world of filmmaking! Whether they’re behind the camera, in front of it, or dreaming up the next big story, this is the perfect introduction for them.

Over the week, we’ll explore:

🎞️ An introduction to filmmaking and storyboarding

🎥 Filming scenes using iPads

✂️ Editing and adding finishing touches

🌟 A premiere-style screening of their short films at the end of the week

Every session kicks off with chill time (games, chats, and getting settled) before diving into the main activity of the day. We also make time to get up, stretch our legs, and enjoy a tasty, healthy meal together.

Who can get involved?

This camp is for young people aged 8-11 from St Helens who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.

Limited places are also available for other groups of young people, including those in receipt of a support plan via Early Help, Child in Need or Children We Look After, an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) or additional hours at school.

Monday 28th - Thursday 31st July, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. (4-days)

How much does it cost?

This project is funded by St Helens Borough Council and the Department for Education for young people from St Helens who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals, therefore it is free to attend.

What equipment should I bring?

Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
