Event description

Description

We have a treat in store for you this summer. The Philosophy Foundation is hosting a series of film and philosophy events - filmosophy for short.

On the afternoon and evening of Wednesday 9th August we will be screening two films in Forest Hill Library. The kind of films that gets you asking, 'what just happened?' '...and why did she do that?!' '...but that doesn't make sense!' or just simply, 'wow'. After each film attendees are invited to join us for a philosophical conversation facilitated by specialists from The Philosophy Foundation.

The first film, for young people* will screen at 3pm and be followed by a discussion. This event will end at 5:30pm.

The second film, for adults and older children** will screen at 6pm and be followed by a discussion. This event will end at approximately 8:30pm.

We have to keep the film secret, and space is limited so make sure to book your place early. We are asking for a £3 donation per person for each film and discussion, to support organisational and specialist costs for this event. If you would like to request a concession, or have any questions about attending this event please email joe@philosophy-foundation.org

*Suitable for 8+. Grown ups are allowed to supervise children, but won't be allowed to take part in the discussion after, sorry folks!

**Suitable for anyone aged 13+

We will be holding another Filmosophy event on Wednesday 23rd August.
