Join us for a hands-on Sustainable Sewing Workshop where young minds will learn how to make their very own panelled jumper, from picking out fun fabrics, following a basic pattern and stitching it all together. Whether they're a beginner or already love sewing, our step-by-step guide will show them how to create a cozy, personalized jumper that they can wear with pride. With colourful designs, simple techniques, and lots of creativity, this workshop is the perfect way to explore the world of fashion, pattern cutting and design.
This two-day course, led by professional upcycling designers Abigail Schaefer from Mukta_un_done in collaboration with Lizzy Evans from Make Fabric Boutique, aims to foster creativity, environmental consciousness, and hands-on skills.

Sustainable and slow fashion has become one of the most significant movements in the quest for a greener and more earth-friendly manufacturing industry.

Upcycling, in particular, stands out as an effective way to create new garments using surplus textiles that have already undergone the manufacturing process. By reusing these materials, designers can produce new looks with minimal environmental impact.

If you have a sewing machine it is great to bring it with you a really get to know how to use it properly, or you can use one of ours.
