Finance For Tomorrow Programme
Money does make the world go round and since most people interact with money every single day, it makes sense to get to grips with the basics – where money comes from, where it goes and how to manage it.
Today's generation of children face increasingly complex financial futures, so financial education from an early age is vital to them becoming more financially responsible adults later in their lives.
Our financial awareness programme prepares children for the financial decisions they will have to make now and in the future. During our interactive one-day workshop, we cover areas including understanding the role money plays in people's lives, ways to earn money, managing pocket money and saving pocket money. We also explore peoples' relationships with money and set team and individual challenges. Our team challenges will see children given tasks to complete requiring collaboration as they manage
Our team challenges will see children given a number of tasks to complete, requiring true collaboration as they manage group and individual wants and needs. Children will be required to manage a set budget and to seek ways find in which to meet their objectives while staying within their means. Our individual challenge will see children planning for themselves. Throughout all challenges, children will be accompanied by camp leaders and volunteers, we will be on hand to guide and advise them. We believe that one of the best ways to learn is through practical experience and our aim is to see all children complete their challenges successfully, earning recognition for their efforts.
