The role of finance within business is changing - fast. In this 60-minute co-creation workshop, we’ll roll up our sleeves and start to figure out how to bake purpose into real finance practices and processes.

How will it work?

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a working session for finance professionals who want to stay ahead, protect their reputation, and help shape what purpose-led finance looks like in the real world.

We'll consider the priorities of a purpose-led finance team, including integrated reporting, risk management, ethics, and sustainable finance.

Exploring what we can do today, what's next and what that might mean for the longer term.

Who is this for?

The session is perfect for Finance Directors, CFOs, Heads of Finance and Financial Controllers in businesses with up to 1000 employees. However, everyone is welcome and diverse perspectives will maximise the impact of the session.

About your host, Sarah Whale

I've gained broad financial leadership experience across corporates, start-ups, and scale-ups. I've been where you are today.

I'm a B Corp-trained B leader, hold the Cambridge Institute Certificate in Sustainable Finance and am the ACCA SME Global Forum Sustainability Lead, shaping the future of responsible business.

Believing short-term financial decision-making in business was not helping people, the planet or our profits, I founded B Corp-certified Profit Impact. Since launching Profit Impact, I have helped 100+ businesses rethink success beyond the bottom line.

In 2024, I was the GenCFO ESG Project of the Year Winner, leading innovation at the intersection of finance and sustainability.
