Finances Made Simple with Talk About Money CIC [In-person]
Overview
Finances Made Simple
You’re excited about your new venture, whether it’s a business, a community group, a sole trader role or a social enterprise. You’ve got the ideas, you’ve got the skills, you’ve got the drive… but what about the money? This workshop simplifies often daunting topics such as securing start-up capital, creating a financial business plan, juggling personal and business finances, understanding your legal responsibilities, and figuring out whether you’ve got a viable business idea or an expensive hobby. You’ll leave feeling confident that you can manage the money side of running a business, with a free spreadsheet to help you!
This workshop is open for anyone interested in learning more about managing finances better, and will be led by May Fairweather from Talk About Money CIC. It is aimed at those working, volunteering, or starting out in the VCFSE (voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations) sector in Stockport.
Please note the room at Merseyway Innovation Centre holds a maximum of 10 people. Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.
Our goal is to provide affordable, accessible and inclusive financial education, guidance and support to people in the Greater Manchester area and beyond.
