Financial Inclusion Conference for Manchester 2016: Your Mind, Your Money, Your Manchester. In partnership with Mind Your Money, Manchester City Council and Big Lottery.
We all know there are lots of links between money and wellbeing but what implications does this have for the work we do? Join us for Manchester’s fourth Financial Inclusion Conference as we explore a range of issues around money and wellbeing, giving both frontline staff and decision-makers the opportunity to reflect on how we can work together to improve the financial and mental wellbeing of the people of Manchester.
Guest speakers confirmed so far:
Dave Power – Group Chief Executive, One Manchester
Dave will discuss the role housing providers play in the field of Financial Inclusion and how we can all work together to prevent financial exclusion in our City.
Cllr Bernard Priest - Deputy Leader, Manchester City Council
Bernard Priest will be outlining the new ‘Our Manchester’ approach and how this should be incorporated into the work we do.
Claudia Hammond - Broadcaster, writer and psychology lecturer.
Money, the way we think of it, the way we spend it and the way we deal with it is individual to every one of us and we will be exploring this in more detail with broadcaster, writer and psychology lecturer Claudia Hammond.
Further speakers to be announced.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to attend two workshops. Confirmed Workshops so far are:
