This will be a topical talk related to advising clients in later life and their families. Full details will be added nearer the time.
The target audience will be financial planners, paraplanners, legal professionals, accountants and investment professionals.
About the speaker:
Tish is a barrister, Founder and Joint Chairman of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and a Founder Member of Solicitor’s For the Elderly, for which she is Head of Business Development.
She has worked extensively in the areas of policy development, financial, legal training and advice delivery in relation to older people and is involved in the delivery of national standard setting and accreditation for financial and legal advisers in the older client sector.
Her areas of expertise encompass the retirement’ market and how policy impacts on retirement and care.
Tish has worked with government departments and a variety of third sector and private organisations in developing and supporting good practice in relation to older and vulnerable clients. She was particularly involved with the implementation and delivery of the Care Act 2014 and sat on two working parties at the Department of Health which contributed to drafting parts of the legislation
She is Vice Chair of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in her home county of Kent.

Financial Liverpool is a society for professionals working in the financial services sector in Liverpool, including financial advisers, discretionary fund managers, pension providers, private client lawyers etc.
We host ten meetings per year, usually the last Friday of the month.
The current format is a talk for about an hour followed by a lunch where you can network with fellow members. The events start at noon and are hosted by Tilney BestInvest in the Royal Liver Building.
The events are free for members, and membership is free if you are a member of CII/PFS (otherwise a charge of £50 applies for your firm's annual membership).
