This workshop is intended for senior management and will discuss and analyse the detailed financial information at a corporate level. Delegates should be in a position to understand the long-term financial requirements of the organisation.

Summary:

This workshop provides an introduction to management accounting and its purpose in creating financial projections. Key areas covered include:

- The scope and purpose of management accounts
- What good management accounts might contain
- Analysing and understanding the information presented
- What is financial planning, budgeting and forecasting?
- What do good financial forecasts contain?
- How to go about preparing robust financial forecasts and budgets

By the end you will be able to understand the principles of management accounting and be able to prepare forward financial projections.
