Description

MHA Carpenter Box and Bennett Griffin are pleased to join Guild Care for an event to help you to plan for later life. This event will cover some of the legal issues surrounding wills, trusts and power of attorney as well as financial implications such as Inheritance Tax, self-assessment and funding for care fees.

Speakers

Tania Clapham – Partner, Bennett Griffin

Tania specialises in complex Estate administration and strategic lifetime legal planning including drafting Wills for complex family or financial situations. Tania’s particular areas of specialism include advising Executors concerning their duties and their personal responsibilities to prevent potential liabilities. She also advises beneficiaries about their options, in the light of an inheritance, including the benefits of Deeds of Variations. Tania is a full member of STEP, Solicitors for the Elderly and the Law Society Probate Section.

Karen Thomas – Associate, MHA Carpenter Box

Karen has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of personal taxation including inheritance taxes, property rental business, capital gains, partnership and self-employment taxes. Karen runs Private Client Services and looks after a number of personal tax and high net worth clients.

Gill Lynes – Financial Planning Manager, MHA Carpenter Box Wealth Management

Gill has over 20 years' experience working in the financial services sector. She has a background in dealing with private clients, specialising in providing financial planning solutions to individuals and families aimed to address their investment, pensions and protection needs. Gill is an Associate member of the Society of Later Life Advisers.
