Event description

Description

What is Financing Wind?

Financing Wind is our annual conference. Every year we focus on the most pressing and current global issues in wind, bringing together a number of high profile and engaging speakers in a series of themed panel discussions covering emerging and established markets, policy, investment trends, and the market opportunities and risks in the year ahead.

Our Financing Wind North America conference is a key part of our international events programme. This event attracts key players in the industry, helping them to connect with each other and share insights into the market.

Financing Wind is for those who typically don’t ‘do’ big conferences, and won’t be found traipsing around trade show floors. Rather, it’s exclusively for our members - the key decision-makers in global wind.

When?

The conference is due on April 25, 2019, between 8 am and 7 pm with an exclusive pre-conference reception the night before on April 24, 2019, from 5.30pm for attendees of Financing Wind North America 2019.

Where?

Financing Wind North America will be hosted in Denver, Colorado at The Curtis - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

The Agenda

We'll bring together a rich and varied panel of speakers to explore some key themes;

  • End of the Production Tax Credit
  • The Birth of US Offshore Wind
  • Innovations in Project Finance
  • Large Onshore Projects and Tackling Transmission

  • Evolutions in Power Purchase Agreements
