The BBC is inviting DWP clients from across the country to join us for an informal chat and a chance to put your questions to us on anything and everything you ever wanted to know about how to start a career in the media/broadcasting.

Our team will be on-hand to share information about all of the entry level and apprenticeship opportunities we currently have available. We'll also be able to guide you through the application process and give you some hints and tips on how to make sure your application hits the spot!

You'll be able to find out more about all of our schemes which cover all aspects of our work including roles in Business, Technology, Production, Journalism, Digital, Data, Finance, Marketing, Production Management, Law, Taxation and Human Resources.

Current, and former, apprentices will share their experiences first-hand of what it's like to be an apprentice in the BBC as well as an insight of what it is like to work for the world's largest public service broadcaster.

All of our apprenticeships at the BBC include formal off-the-job training, delivered by an approved external training provider, along with work-based placements. While you're on programme, you will earn a salary, gain a recognised apprenticeship qualification and have access to lots of training and development opportunities and on-the-job workplace experience. Throughout your time on the apprenticeship you'll be supported by dedicated scheme specialists and line managers in the business.

You could be working to coordinate a film shoot; or helping set up the technical equipment and technology for outside broadcasts for major events like the Coronation; you might be analysing audience figures to work out where we can do more for our audiences, or you may be creating our latest digital content and with the latest cutting edge technologies.
