Take an hour on a Saturday morning (9.30-10.30am) or Wednesday lunchtime (12-1pm) to refuel and refocus your ministry. Make yourself a cuppa and settle down to meet the creators, ask questions, explore how things might work in your setting and chat with others doing similar work.

Faith Adventures for Children Together (FACT)

Saturday 6 April 9.30-10.30am & Wednesday 10 April 12-1pm

Run by: Sharon Lloyd (Programme Assistant (Children's & Youth Work)) and Ruth White (Children's & Youth Development Officer for Wessex Synod (South)) (Sat 6 April) and Judy Harris (Children's & Youth Development Officer for the National Synod of Wales) (Weds 10 April)

Fact is a free weekly resource to help children’s group leaders plan and deliver Bible-based, child-centred, engaging sessions for ages 12 and under, with a take-home postcard to support family faith development. Discover the wide range of pick and mix materials and how you could use them to create sessions for toddler groups, assemblies, mid-week groups and Sunday school groups as well as adapt for all age worship.

FAYR is a free weekly resource to help children’s group leaders plan and deliver Bible-based, child-centred, engaging sessions for ages 11 to 14, with going deeper links to explore on their own. Discover the wide range of pick and mix materials and how you could use them to create sessions for youth groups, assemblies and Sunday school groups as well as adapt for all age worship.

Regenerational: all ages worshipping together

Introducing a new free resource to help church leaders introduce intergenerational principles and practices to a congregation through four all-age services. Created in partnership with Intergen and the Uniting Church in Australia, Regenerational focusses on WHY as well as HOW to include everyone in gathered worship and seeks to equip churches.

Where Are The Young People?

The URC in partnership with The Quakers have produced a free set of resources to help turn this question into constructive conservations and reflective activities. Come along for a taster and overview of the materials to see how they might help your church move from wondering to understanding and active engagement.

Prayer Prompts for Children

Saturday 8 June 9.30-10.30am & Wednesday 12 June 12-1pm

To help foster children’s spirituality the URC have produced two free sets of prayer prompt cards (for 4-8s and 8-12s). Come and explore how you might use the with groups and individuals to help children to pray. Also ideal for children leading a group in prayer – for example in a uniformed group setting.
