About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours

Do you struggle to find the headspace (or time, energy, motivation) to pursue the things that matter? Have you tried setting goals and managing your time, only to feel frustrated when habits don’t stick? In this full day workshop, we’ll create a relaxed and compassionate space to explore what matters most to you. You’ll create an ambitious but realistic plan with built-in course correction to help you keep focused for however long it takes.

You’ll begin by exploring how your mind-body responds to stress, then use this knowledge to build persistence. You’ll try out evidence-based techniques to focus a busy mind, and start to pin down the values and goals that matter most.

After a lunch break (socialising optional) you’ll go from big plans to manageable next steps, trying out a range of tools to help you think about time & energy management, overcoming procrastination and meaningful prioritisation.

You’ll come away with a personal visual reminder of your goals, a plan that’s realistic and supportive, and a list of resources to return to whenever you need.

She has a degree in Graphic Media Communication, a PGCE in Lifelong Learning, and a master’s degree in Creative Writing but the most important qualification is her own experience of facing mental health challenges, and the ongoing project of remaining a creative, grounded human through good times and bad.
