If you want to improve your presentation skills, your public speaking or simply feel comfortable running a large meeting, this course is for you.

This two-part workshop will give you practical tools and techniques for speaking up, and being heard.

Part 1 will focus on managing nerves, and speaking with confidence and clarity.
Part 2 will focus on content (what you say), body language, and hand and facial gestures.

This ticket is for the first of two masterclasses in the Spring season. We run this masterclass last October (READ ABOUT IT) and it was so well received that 70% of those who attended signed up for the secod sesison on Body language straight away.

Led by Susan Room, this Voice Masterclass will give you practical strategies to speak with confidence, clarity, and gravitas. The course covers practical exercises and tricks applicable at all levels of our career.

NAWIC London & South East

"In a multicultural society where the communities we design for and the client bodies we design with are diverse, so should be our teams."

About NAWIC:

Founded in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1955, the National Association of Women in Construction is one of the world's longest running organisations for women working in construction. Run entirely by volunteers, NAWIC UK and Ireland is a diverse Not-For-Profit Association founded in 2003, after signing an international affiliation agreement.

As an organisation, we are committed to encouraging individuals to pursue, establish and sustain successful careers in the Construction Industry by creating opportunities to access inside knowledge, share best practice, develop personal and professional skills and to grow professional networks.

Our members are individuals working in an industry they feel passionate about. They thrive in diverse environments and enjoy working as a team in the shaping of the built environment.

Key targets:

  • A shift of focus from gender to ability.
  • Levelling the playing field in the industry.
  • Ending of stereotypes

NAWIC London and South East:

The London and South East region is the largest within NAWIC UK & Ireland. We hold regular events which include site visits, business breakfasts, skills development workshops, networking opportunities, career events, members-only evenings, debates and more. We also run projects such as "The Image of Construction" to engage the next generation.
