Overview

Exploring finding a way back to ourselves through the practice of nature journaling, haiku, and the wild beauty of the world around us

Join Catherine Asta for a gathering of presence and reconnection through the practice of nature journaling, haiku and the wild beauty of the world around us. We will gather online, for an hour, to explore finding a way back to ourselves through noticing, writing and reflection.

Giving our attention to small, ordinary wonders - a shared practice of return.

The session is not about writing perfect poems, or sketching or capturing perfect pictures. We are here to notice - to give our attention to small, ordinary wonders. This is about a practice of return.

What to Expect

  • A welcome and guided arrival by Catherine
  • A brief practice in noticing - awakening your senses to the world around you
  • A short creative exercise in haiku.
  • Optional sharing and gentle reflection
  • A closing moment of stillness and gratitude

You’ll leave with a small written piece, a sense of calm, connection and belonging, a reminder that the light lives in the everyday - along with a practice you can weave into your daily life.

  • A pause in the noise
  • Gentle creative expression
