Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust welcomes Sharon Stacey for Disability History Month. Sharon is going to be teaching participants how to effectively use their voice and body language, to speak confidently to express themselves and their needs. This 60 minute workshop is open to all Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS staff, service users and partners. We particularly welcome people with disabilities, long term conditions and who are neurodiverse.

Please note this workshop will be via Zoom link that will be sent out nearer the time. Participants will require a private space to engage in the session and there will no pressure on individuals to speak.

BIOGRAPHY

Sharon is a voice coach and musical director with a 16+ year history of delivering to high performing professionals, engaging individuals and teams across the public and private sector.

Sharon helps clients achieve vocal clarity, attentive tone and confidence through her programme ‘Voice Coaching For Leaders’ - A series of 1-2-1 coaching sessions for those delivering in-person or online meetings, keynote speeches and business pitches. Sharon is a certified Vocal Health First Aider and delivers Vocal Health Workshops for teams who need a voice care strategy to help reduce voice impairment related absences.

Sharon delivers team building events as part of workplace engagement activities. Her specially created workshops ‘Choir Collaboration’ and ‘Strummin’ & Hummin ’Ukulele’ is popular with businesses who want to improve team collaboration, settle in new recruits into well established teams, and crossing departmental boundaries.

Sharon is a seasoned performer with a wealth of professional experience in bands and as a solo artist. She founded New Freedom Gospel, a small group consisting of cherry-picked vocalists with years of professional experience, and one of the three vocalists from The Soul Jam - a 16-piece Soul party band playing in theatres, arenas, and in some of the country’s leading hotels and function venues.
