About this event

How can young people think about their future when the world of work is changing so quickly? What kinds of jobs might there be for them to do, and what kind of careers might they want to build? In this webinar we introduce the concept of moral ambition, as popularised in Rutger Bregman's recent book, to get students to think about what they'd like gain from their work and how they could contribute to society. Using examples from faculty members and former alumni we explore different pathways to jobs that make a real difference to people's lives. Finally we discuss the skills needed to become happy, flexible and useful members of the workforce and how these skills can be applied to build meaningful and exciting careers.
