LUNCH INCLUDED IN TICKET COST.
What happens after the march? What does self-care look like for us? What does it mean to rest in a world that demands constant vigilance and advocacy?
Join us on Saturday 28th June from 12:45pm to round off a busy Pride Month with a gentle afternoon of kinship, creativity, and catching up - with yourself. Through mindful art-making and somatic workshops led by interdisciplinary artist Rebecca Goh, you are invited to breathe, engage the senses, and dream in a collective space of rest.
Come as you are — experience in art or movement is not necessary for participation, and the workshops will be inclusive of various access needs.
Schedule:
12:45pm - Arrival & introductions
1pm - Lunch (delicious & to be announced!)
2pm - Creative workshops around botanical art-making and movement
4pm - Mingling & farewell
About the facilitator:
Rebecca Goh (they / them) is an interdisciplinary theatre / movement director, dramaturg, and community engagement producer. They facilitate unexpected collaborations that centre imaginative play, immersive storytelling, and care. As a queer, neurodivergent, working-class artist of Southeast-Asian heritage, communal world-building and joy lies at the core of their artistry. Their practice straddles borders and genres – including projects spanning site-specific multimedia performance, documentary theatre, and experimentations with creative technologists, scientists, D/deaf hip-hop dancers, composers, and ecologists. They have trained and worked internationally across Poland, Germany, Singapore, India, the Czech Republic, and the UK. Rebecca is currently exploring the intersections between creative access, ecoscenography, live performance, and cultural futurism — with the aim of celebrating the diverse narratives we share with our human and more-than-human kin.

About Chats Palace Arts Centre:
Chats Palace is a home for radical creativity and collective action. Since 1976, we’ve stood at the heart of our East London community — rooted in working-class culture and driven by the belief that art and education are powerful tools for social change. From our Grade II-listed building, once Homerton Library and gifted to the people by Andrew Carnegie ‘for the betterment of East Londoners,’ we continue a proud legacy of protest, performance, and public dialogue. We champion those who are marginalised, excluded, or silenced — offering a bold, welcoming space where community voices are heard, injustice is challenged, and imagination fuels transformation.
