About this Event

Professor Veronica Hope Hailey

Vice-President (Strategic External Engagement), Professor of Management Studies, University of Bath.

Giving a very intimate account of the interplay between her personal and professional timelines, Veronica will reflect upon six years as a female Dean in the School of Management and share the lessons she learnt as a woman leader drawing upon her long and varied personal, professional and academic journey.

Biography

Veronica is a respected leader with senior management experience in higher education. She also has significant experience and knowledge of leading and implementing change across a range of organisations in the private, public and non-profit sector. In her different roles as manager, consultant, board member and trustee she has developed practical skills in governance, strategy development, and organisational design. She has worked internationally and has insight into the challenges faced by organisations working globally.

As a mother of five daughters Veronica has particular interest in developing opportunities for girls and women around the world. She is acutely aware of the challenges they face and how organisations of all kinds need to develop cultures and policies that support women in work.

Parking is free after 17:00. Tea and coffee will be available from 18:00. The meeting will start at18:30. A networking reception will follow the meeting.
