Finding Stillness in Nature Walk
Mon 22 May 2017, 17:00 – 19:30 BST
This event is part of Bristol's Walking Fest 2017. It is a walk for a small group of adults to connect to the natural world through sensory activities and short readings to bring calmness and insight.
The walk will be fairly short in length exploring the woods and quieter corners of ashton court stopping at points to listen, look and connect to the natural space we find ourselves in.
The walk will start from next to Ashton Court Golf Course Cafe - please note the postcode does not match the location (enter the estate from Abbots Leigh Road - suspension bridge entrance - and follow drive to end and up hill over speedbumps to the cafe and golf and mountain bike centre). The walk will follow a circular route returning to end at the cafe.
You will need to wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear - you are strongly advised to wear long trousers and tops to reduce the chance of being stung or scratched by plants. You should also bring some water to drink.
The walk is repeated and runs on Monday 15th May at 10am and Monday 22nd May at 5pm lasting approximately 2 1/2 hours. The date you want can be selected via the blue dates button at the top.
Further information and a reminder will be provided prior to the event.
