Workshop: Introduction to Cyanotype Printing
In this workshop, Marion Gabrielle will teach participants how to print images using the cyanotype technique. Cyanotype is a process dating back to the 1840s, often called a ‘camera-less’ way of creating photographic images in deep blue tones.During the workshop, we will learn how to mix chemicals for cyanotype, choose and coat paper, expose and rinse prints. Marion will also explain how to create negative images of your photographs.
No darkroom experience needed. Open to all.

What participants need to bring:
- Send 2-5 images ahead of the workshop (images should be 300DPI jpeg, preferably with good contrasts) to mariongabriellephotos@gmail.com
- Bring an apron
- Bring an A4 envelope to take their prints back after the workshop
