A 6 week online creative writing course for adult survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA) to 'Find The Words' to express our own lived experiences, celebrate our survival and resist the dominant culture that silences and overlooks us.
Viv Gordon will be guiding us through simple exercises to express resistance inspired by the Restless punk gig theatre project. Drawing on the project themes of walking, the ocean, punk and the history of CSA survivor activism - we will write slogans, poems, monologues and stories to say "no" to oppressive systems and cultures and "yes" to connection and community power.
Viv Gordon is a writer, performer and CSA survivor activist whose work is a campaign to make narrative change and build community and leadership by, for and with survivors of child sexual abuse.
