Finding Your Fictional Voice with Toby Litt | Workshop
Overview
Developing a clear, individual voice on the page is one of the most important things a beginning writer can do.
In this workshop, Toby Litt, prize winning author and Head of Creative Writing at the University of Southampton, will share a wide range of different approaches to help you become more distinctively yourself. These will include practical suggestions, inspirational writing prompts and a set of exercises to continue in your own time.
Venue: Sir James Matthews Building, Level 2 (ground floor), Room 2063
Suitability: Ages 16+
Check-in: from 18:10, in the main foyer of Sir James Matthews Building
PLEASE NOTE: a few additional tickets will be available on the day at the ticket desk, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Accessibility: Venue has full wheelchair access. Priority seating for deaf, hard of hearing and visually impaired, near the front. If you require additional support, please ask a member of the Festival team on site.
