If you are in the ‘messy middle’ of life starting to feel that you are about to enter, or well on your way to the other side … yes! there really is the ‘other side’ and from my experience, it’s a great place to be … then The Midlife Slice summer series of coaching & wellbeing experiences is for you.

Where do the workshops / retreats take place?

Our events take place in a tranquil & beautiful lunar bell tent, perfectly pitched for the summer in Lynda’s own garden. Spending time in nature can generate many positive emotions, such as calmness, joy, & creativity & can facilitate concentration … the perfect environment for self-discovery.

Why do we sit in a circle?

A circular seating arrangement creates a sense of belonging. A space in which people feel more able to be curious, share their ideas &  are open to finding creative solutions.

What time do I need to commit?

In most cases, the only time commitment is that of the event itself. Some retreats may give you the option to do some preparatory work, for example, a vision board workshop may suggest collecting magazines to inspire you at the retreat.

How do I know if the workshop / retreat is for me?

We hope that the workshop/retreat descriptions provide you with a good idea of what to expect from the workshop/retreat and outline who they have been designed for. However, if you are still unsure, please email any questions you may have to lynda.brown@menogo.co.uk

How many people will be on the workshop / retreat with me?

Our workshops/retreats are designed so that each participant feels welcome & has a quality experience. We also want each person to participate in all the activities, contribute fully & leave feeling happy, & fulfilled. As such, each event can accommodate six people.

Question 8

What do I need to bring, or wear?

Accepted Answer

In most cases you will not need to bring anything to your workshop/retreat as everything is usually provided. If there is a need for you to bring anything along, such as a blanket or yoga mat, this will be highlighted in the details of the workshop/retreat.

What is a Midlife Transition Coach?

A Midlife Transition Coach will help those in their 40s, 50s and 60s equip themselves with the essential tools and mindset required to turn unease and upheaval into growth and renewal, and navigate midlife transitions with meaning, purpose, and skill.

What qualifications do you have?

Accepted Answer

Qualified Life Coach with 10+ years of experience. I am Third Age Women Certified (a certification focused on menopause/wellbeing), a Practitioner of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) & Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), & completed ‘Navigating Midlife Transitions’ with the  Modern Elder Academy.

How do I book my space at a workshop/retreat?

All workshops and retreats can be booked via www.themidlifeslice.co.uk where you will link to Eventbrite.

Question 12

What is your refund policy on workshops/retreats?

Accepted Answer

A full refund will be given if you cancel 7 days or more, prior to the event date. After this point, no refund will be given.
