Finding your way through - Warrington

This 2-hour online information session is for all childcare providers.

The session will delve into our six-step decision-making and future planning process so you can:

• Learn from your experiences of what is working well.
• Consider how to plan with many uncertainties and unknowns.
• Balance service delivery with safety and financial sustainability by:
• Accessing all applicable government funding support
• Finding out what people want and understanding post COVID-19 demand
• Reflect on models of delivery that work for families and providers
• Consider financial management and business planning actions for autumn term and beyond
• Marketing and promoting services to maximise occupancy and fill available places
• You will also be given links to websites and useful free tools which can help your business planning.

The information session will be online using Zoom. Zoom can be used on smartphone, tablet devices or laptops. The bigger the device, the better the functionality, which means you can see and do more on a tablet or PC than you can on a ‘phone. We will send you an email with the link a few hours before the session you have booked. Follow the link and you will be taken to the Zoom waiting room. Please join the meeting at least five minutes before the meeting start time. We will let you in when the meeting is ready to start. If your device will not enable you to join using video you can still listen to the session.

We want you to get the most out of this session. There’s time built-in for you ask questions and share challenges. We want to provide the chance to share good practice, lessons learned and things that are working well for you as you have supported families through lockdown and wider reopening.
