About this Event
'Finished and under construction': Irish Poetry since 1998 seeks to offer a space in which researchers might explore the aesthetics and politics of present-day Irish poetry, as well as the contexts and conditions for its production. It will include a keynote address by Professor Colin Graham, a plenary Q&A/ reading with Dr Miriam Gamble, and public readings by: Dr Leontia Flynn, Professor Nick Laird, Dr Padraig Regan (Saturday March 2nd), Jessica Traynor, Susannah Dickey, and Michael Naughton Shanks (Sunday March 3rd).

The conference is organised with support from the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry, Poetry Ireland, the School of Arts, English and Languages, and the Graduate School, Queen's University Belfast.
