The most sustainable product is the one you already own. That’s why Finisterre and Reskinned have partnered to bring you this upcycling workshop - part of our takeback and resale service, giving old gear a second chance. At the workshop you will have a chance to choose a one-off piece of pre-loved Finisterre clothing to repair, customise and take home with you.
Our inhouse Repair Specialists Amy & Ruth along with Reskinned Repair Specialist Lizzie, will demonstrate a variety of repair techniques that you can use to fix your chosen piece. We will be using recycled materials from other Finisterre garments to patch and remnant yarns to darn. You will also be able to experiment with embroidery stitching and decorative sashiko to re-work and personalise your item.
Suitable for beginners and all levels of experience, all materials, clothing to repair and tools will be provided as well as drinks from our partners Pentire and Harbour.
