Imperial College London's Trusted AI Alliance is hosting a Fintech Hackathon, open to university students across our South Kensington campus and select universities in London.
According to a report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and QED Investors, Fintech revenues are expected to soar from $245 billion to $1.5 trillion by 2030. Currently holding a 2% share of global financial services revenue, fintech is poised to reach 7%, with banking fintechs projected to account for nearly 25% of all banking valuations worldwide by 2030.
In 2024, there were 323 funding deals for UK fintech companies, a decrease from 830 in 2023, but a more positive trend appeared in the second half of the year, with total fintech investment reaching £16.3 billion in the EMEA region across 1,465 deals, of which the UK is the largest market, will your startup be next?
Your final pitch will be presented to real venture capitalists and corporate investors looking for the next big idea.
