About this event
Creative Optimistic Visions is proud to host its very own live final of our Fire in the Youth project supported by Youth Music.
Inspired by The Rap Game UK, COV has provided up and coming Coventry talent the opportunity to take part in a range of tasks to test their musical ability. Supported and mentored by Coventrys own Feisty and COV mentors, this event will showcase some of Coventrys finest, as our artists take on their final task and perform to a live audience.
We have confirmed a very special guest who appeared on The Rap Game UK to perform and headline this event!!!!! Our special guest will help judge on the night as we reveal the winner of our Fire in the Youth.
If you are passionate about home grown talent, new up and coming artists and live music, this event is for you!
ABOUT COV
Creative Optimistic Visions (COV) is an award-winning Community Interest Company that provides alternative education, training, universal youth provision, consultancy and mentoring services through the lens of the Protective Behaviours Process (PBs). PBs is a practical down to earth approach relating to feeling safe, equipping people with a skill set to keep themselves feeling safe throughout their life journey.
We are a small grass roots organisation, founded in 2014 in Coventry City, that has built a respectful reputation with existing partners, but most importantly children and families we work with.
We firmly believe that ‘we all have the right to feel safe’ and ‘we can talk with someone about anything even if it is awful or small’, therefore we provide a wrap around, consistent model of support throughout our projects and mentoring services.
We provide young people with access to safe spaces, where they engage in a variety of services that relate to their needs from emotional support and alternative education, to social action community engagement projects. We use sports, the arts and real conversation to enable sustainable engagement with our young people.
