Fire Safety in the Home Awareness Training for Professionals

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are offering FREE 'fire safety in the home awareness training' for partner agencies/professionals.

We have created a training package with the aim of working together to protect vulnerable residents who are at risk of fire.

We would like to take the opportunity to offer this free training for your staff, which can be undertaken via Teams using the Eventbrite booking system.

The training will last approximately 1 hour and the contents are:

• Understanding the 'Three Pillars of Vulnerability' & who is more at risk from fire in the home?

• What is a Safe & Well visit? (previously known as a home fire safety check)

• How do we reduce the risk of fires in the home?

• How to make a quality referral to HIWFRS?
