Fire Safety & Risk Assessment – the Fire Safety Regs (NI) 2010
This interactive half-day Fire Safety Training Course is designed to provide delegates with an awareness of Fire Safety in the workplace in line with the Fire Safety Regulations (NI) 2010. This includes the requirement for all employees to have Fire Safety training during induction and periodically thereafter.
Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for any member of the construction industry who is required to be aware of Fire Safety requirements and regulations within their organisation.
Learning Outcomes:
· Employee responsibilities to Fire Safety - How to Prevent Fires and Safe Working Practices
· An overview of the current Fire Safety Legislation
· The danger of fire and how it can spread
· Fire classification and the methods of extinguishing different types of fire
· The correct Procedure to take in the Event of Fire
· Demonstration on use of a Fire blanket
· Q&A
All attendees will receive a pocket size extinguisher guide.
