Over the years, women’s sensuality has been demonised, suppressed, shamed and portrayed as ‘impure’. Whenever a woman has dared, or does dare, to embody her sexuality, she is shamed or tamed.

Now the divine feminine (the light and the dark feminine) are rising in power. Now is the time to embody and tap into our innate power with our rage, our passion and our sensuality.

But after years of suppression and conditioning, how do we do this?

🌹 The sensual process:

The workshop will invite you to journey through 3 phases - to Explore, Express and Embody.

Each phase will drop us deeper into the process at a safe pace.

🧭 EXPLORE sensuality as a topic, your relationship to the term and concept.

🎨 EXPRESSusing creative mediums to release blocks and limiting beliefs, and start to tap into the sensual woman archetype.

💃 EMBODY the sensuality within you, using embodied techniques and ritual.

🐍 Mythological women will be used as archetypes for each stage of the workshop, to reflect and contain the process.

There will be 2 breaks and a lunch break.

🌳 Venue info:

Nestled in the woods, surrounded by trees and birdsong, we will be meeting in a hut within the Tilgate woods.

This beautiful hut belongs to a local charity, that has a perfect atmosphere for our workshop.

Lunch can be enjoyed just outside the hut surrounded by nature and birdsong (weather dependent of course!)

Accessible via bus and car, with ample parking.

About the facilitator:

Emma-Jo is a HCPC registered creative psychotherapist, tarot reader, and women's circle facilitator who is passionate about women's wellbeing and creating safe spaces for women so they can release, reclaim and restore, so they can feel more empowered in their lives. Emma-Jo's soul purpose is to hold spaces for women so they can explore their inner worlds, and guide them on their healing journey in a safe, compassionate and empowering manner.

Emma-Jo has run circles in Sussex for 4 years, starting in Crawley in 2021 for a local charity, and then independently in Haywards Heath in 2023. They have also worked at a womens centre, have experience working with domestic abuse, and has a NCFE Cache Level 2 certificate in Understanding Domestic Abuse.

Emma-Jo graduated from Sister Stories Circle Facilitation training, and holds 1:1 women's healing therapy which combines creative psychotherapy and spirituality for a full rounded experience, working with mind, heart, body, soul and spirit.
