Firm Foundations: Legal Structures for VCS organisations

This half day seminar is intended as an introduction to the range of legal structures currently available for the Third Sector, including the traditional ones of Company Limited by Guarantee and Registered Charity, and the newer Community Interest Company (CIC), and Charitable Incorporated Company (CIO).
The seminar will also cover issues around charitable status, what is a Trustee, and roles and responsibilities for Directors.
This event is offered free of charge to anyone working in the Voluntary, Community or Social enterprise sectors. The deposit is to secure your place, this deposit is fully refundable within 7 days of attendance. If you cancel your place within 48 hours of the training date or do not attend the training session then your deposit will be non-refundable.
