The First Aid at Work 18 Hour Level 3 (VTQ) – FAW course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to manage a wide range of first aid situations in the workplace. It meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is ideal for those who are appointed as workplace first aiders or who require a higher level of first aid training.
Over the 18 hours of guided learning, participants will gain confidence in assessing and responding to emergencies, treating injuries and illnesses, and maintaining life until professional medical help arrives. Training is hands-on, scenario-based, and delivered in a way that builds both competence and confidence.

Certification
On successful completion, learners receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work (VTQ) certificate, valid for 3 years, accredited and CPD certified.
