This course cover basic first aid and the qualification received is in line with the latest European and UK Resuscitation Council’s guidelines. A first aider is a person who can take charge of an emergency situation should the need arise. Successful completion of the course gains a certificate which is valid for three years.
The content of this course provides basic lifesaving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations and includes the following:
- The role of the first aider
- Managing an emergency
- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Communication and casualty care
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Seizures (adult)
- Choking (adult)
- Unconscious casualty
This course is in line with the latest European & UK Resuscitation Council’s guidelines. Successful completion of the course gains an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for three years.
